This project was born as the answer of enthusiasts of a genre to problems of commercial simulators - the improbable physics, impossibility of creation of own models and realness sacrificed to ease of play. As result of work became "Flight Gear" - a simulator with the open code which equally can be used both for entertainment and training, representing serious alternative to commercial products.
